Radio

In March of 2022 I became a member of New York University's radio station, WNYU.  From then until my graduation, I was the solo creator of The Golden Hours, a bi-weekly podcast about the Golden Age of American Radio with a particular focus on exploring the people, events, and surrounding societal contexts of the sampled shows.

Episodes of The Golden Hours include: discussion of how an American folklorist helped The Adventures of Superman attack the KKK; the rediscovery of the long-lost Marx Brothers radio show Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel; and a multi-episode discussion of the shows of Philips Lord and how they demonstrated the changing  nature of America's enemies from the 1930s to the 1940s.

Beginning in January 2023, the show moved from WNYU's online lineup to the FM station.

All episodes of The Golden Hours are available to listen to for free on Soundcloud.
